About Us

We can provide you with signposting to the services that will support you when you need them. We can also be there for veterans and their dependants if they need a shoulder to lean on or a listening ear.

Wigan Borough Veterans Council can provide practical advice and guidance for veterans of all ages, backgrounds and military services. The veteran’s council can signpost to a wide variety of organisations, including:

·  Housing

·  Service Personnel & Veterans Agency

·  Health and Social Care

·  Ex services organisations

·  Employment and education

·  Social activities

·  Church services for veterans

·  Veterans badge

They are also there for veterans and their dependants if they need a shoulder to lean or or a listening ear.

The veterans council welcome volunteers, and can provide many different opportunities to gain new skills, knowledge and confidence.
